The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Petition

As you know, EA has announced that they will no longer give out the TS2 Ultimate Collection in Origin. I was informed that people started a petition to urge EA to continue distribution. Just wanted to spread the information and share a link with you. If you want to help fellow-simmers to get the Sims 2 game, you can sign it here.

I had no hesitation in choosing Mayberry’s Queen, Daphne Jenkins, because I just knew her vibrant and precocious personality (not to mention THOSE CHIPMUNK CHEEKS) would be insanely cute as a youngster :’)

is sims 2 better than 3/4?

I’m not really qualified to answer this in an unbiased way. I’ve never played TS4 beyond the CAS demo (and I don’t have the inclination to ever start) and my brief experience with TS3 was buggy, laggy and well, boring.

There are reasons TS2 is the best of the franchise, IMO:

the gameplay is endless and intricate (how many TS2 simmers are still finding new stuff to do in this game?)
the creating community has gone through something of a resurgence, still churning out incredible, ground-breaking (game-saving) content all these years later
EA pretty much leaves us alone because they’re too busy squeezing every last dime they can from the TS4 audience
the genetics engine is much, much better than any other game (as is the overall aesthetic)
the community, in general, comes together for the love of the game, not to hold their creations captive, or troll and be cliquey (to be fair though, this did happen in TS2′s heyday, but those mofos have either left the community or moved on to later games)
with a tidy group of EPs and SPs (18 total, I think) WE HAVE A COMPLETE GAME.

TL;DR: TS2 has kept me entertained for 12 years and counting, has an awesome community, and the best overall game engine of any of the other sims games. That’s all.

Flora & Fauna – a set of 10 paintings

Behold, my first ever painting recolors!

I used the base game ‘Olive Peynter City Skyscape’ painting (costs

§4,000). As the title suggests, they relate to flora and fauna (birds). Artwork all found via Pinterest.

Teen Queens, Downtown Edition.

Benjamin Long is an okay dude, but (apologise in advance, if you like him) Kennedy Cox is a terrible person. Sorry, he just is. He’s always bullying my poor sims and sowing discord when he’s attending my sims’ parties. He’s probably a Trump supporter too.

I don’t have much experience with either so no set opinions yet, but I do suspect that Kennedy isn’t very nice. He was part of a welcome wagon recently and he definitely bullied another sim. Ben was a little heavy handed with Brandi Letourneau when she tried to flirt with him recently.

For the record, I don’t want the T-word anywhere near my simblr ever, EVER again. This is my sanctuary!
